Two prominent elemental entites made the trip to Earth-One from Earth-Two: Ulthoon the Tornado Champion and John Smith the second Red Tornado. The scarlet spinning android known as the second Red Tornado was created on Earth-Two, where it had merged with the Tornado Champion entity who moved from Earth-One’s reality to the android's universe. There it coexisted with the android containing Ulthoon for the next few years.
Eventually, while assisting his Justice Society allies versus the Iron Hand and his massive celestial Nubula Hand which was gradually crushing Earth-Two, Red Tornado volunteered to launch the Nebula Rod into the the cosmic force. While he his destroyed it, just saving Earth-Two and its inhabitants, the concussive force propelled the android across universes, resulting in his crash landing on Earth-One.
With no method of safely returning to Earth-Two, Red Tornado made a home for himself on Earth-One. Thus, for a time both Earths had a tornado being operating in them that originated from the other Earth, before both Red Tornado and its Champion within were pulled in the Anti-Matter universe in 1985, when it was corrupted… with the once noble hero now longer existing.
