Secret Origin of the Red Sun of Krypton & Krypton Itself!
Kal-El, the last son of Krypton-One who became the Superman, discovered a mysterious orange sun entering Earth-One's solar system. Intercepting it, he was pulled within and met its creators, the ancient gaseous beings known as the Sun-Thrivers, whose existence had depended on their encasing themselves within an artificial red sun. However, the sun needed a counter-balance to maintain its internal gravity, and so pulled together enough mass to form a large planet within that red sun's orbit. This planet became Krypton-One, and as mentioned by the Harbinger during the Crisis on Infinite Earths, "The Earth... and all the planets were duplicated" aside from the world known as Oa.
And, in fact, there was a Krypton-Two, Krypton-Three, Krypton-Prime... indeed a Krypton and its corresponding red sun, in every universe across the Multiverse. All created in the same manner, through each universe's version of the Sun-Thrivers. And in all cosmos save that of Earth-Three's, the mass upon which their individual Krypton was built proved unstable and doomed to extinction.
And as most of Kryptonite was absorbed into Savage's suns, so too was most of this same substance absorbed into the Sun-Thriver's red sun and Krypton-One version 2.0. This lessened the threat of either Superman being exposed to this life threatening substance in the future, aside from those meteorites that fell to their native worlds previously or still floated somewhere outside the vast expanse outside the Sun-Thriver's reach.
One of the two sentient Green Kryptonite suns named Aquarius turned insane, causing its stellar twin and the other Council of Living Stars to depower and banish it from their midst. Aquarius would eventually arrive on Earth-Two, steal Starman’s Cosmic Rod allowing the entity to create a new body for itself and greatly amplify its powers.
Battling the Justice Society and, two weeks later, the Justice League, Aquarius eventually found itself within the Anti-Matter or Negative universe, where it was permanently destroyed.

Machavelian Masterminds versus Men of Metal: Vandal Savage versus Shining Knight
Banished to the Phantom Zone, Kru-El would routinely throughout the years work alongside fellow prisoners of the Zone such as General Zod and Jax-Ur to attempt to exact revenged against the son of their jailer.

As Superman, he would later redeem himself somewhat by leading a crushing defeat against Earth-Two's adult Genghis during an adventure with his fellow Justice League members, as well as that world's Justice Society and Law's Legionnaires. More on that later. As Khan, Savage was plucked from the thirteen century do the twentieth century by the renegade scientist known as Doctor Doome. The Doctor had developed the means to traverse time, and employed various notorious conquerors from history including Attila the Hung, Alexander the Great and Napoleon Bonaparte as well as Khan to lead Doome's minions in modern conquest. The members of Law's Legionnaires (or Seven Soldiers of Victory) were dispatched to deal with these individual threats, with Knight choosing Khan. No doubt, this battle helped Genghis to recall when as Savage he had first encountered the Knight. Once defeated, Khan returned to his native time. Perhaps during his foray into the future, Savage recalled his earlier meeting with another Legionnaire, Vigilante, when that hero was sent to Ancient Rome when Vandal was Julius Caesar*.
Years later, the Legionnaires were thrust into the time stream after a battle with the Nebula Man, with each member arriving in a different historical era. Tied through the chronal device given to him by Doome, Khan was able to extract Shining Knight and bring him to the thirteen century in order to aid him in his conquest of China. It was during this occasion that the entity known as the Oracle dispatched teams of three heroes each to various eras in order to extract the Legionnaires and bring them back to their native era. Thus, it was Earth-Two's Sandman and Earth-One's Metamorpho and Superman who did this, with Superman's aforementioned victory versus Khan.
Vandal as Gaius Julius Caesar in ancient Rome had encountered a time-lost Vigilante of Law's Legionnaires as well as Rocky, a henchman of the Dummy. Then, centuries later as Count Lucovico, Savage met another of Law's Legionnaire in the Shining Knight, who sought the aid of Leonardo Da Vinci due to his invention of a time machine identical to that later used by the Dummy. It was that machine which the Dummy used in the 20th century to send the Legionnaires and his hood back to earlier eras.Stealing this time machine and using it to pilfer from the Dummy in the 20th century, Savage would later utilize both technologies in Camelot and Colu-Two versus the Justice Society. encountered a time-lost Vigilante of Law's Legionnaires as well as Rocky, a henchman of the Dummy. Then, centuries later as Count Lucovico, Savage met another of Law's Legionnaire in the Shining Knight, who sought the aid of Leonardo Da Vinci due to his invention of a time machine identical to that later used by the Dummy. It was that machine which Dummy used in the 20th century to send the Legionnaires and his henchmen to earlier eras.
Eventually, Savage met his own world's Superman in ancient Camelot which he returned to in order to lead the Society into a trap and draw them to a planet of his own design in order to siphon the Man of Steel's power into himself. And the person who led Superman and the Society to Camelot to pursue Vandal? The Shining Knight who had a link to the villain throughout the centuries. Eventually, Savage moved to Earth-One for a few months, first attempting to change that world's history to make him a conqueror and later an insidious business man. After decisive defeats versus the Man of Steel and his old foe Immortal Man with the Forgotten Heroes assisting them, Vandal Savage disappeared from Earth-One.

Sinister Strategists of the Stars
On Earth-One, Superman had a fierce foe in his criminal cousin Kru-El, who had been banished into the penal Phantom Zone prior to the destruction of Krypton-One. Several times over the years, he and his fellow Zoners bedeviled his cousins Kal-El and Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl. Incarcerated for procuring weaponry, this would be the means by which Kru-El would torment Kal's Superman.Possessing similar powers to his kin, Kru-El nevertheless proved less adept at fighting with these abilities. Just like his counterpart Savage, who had for a period of time been transformed into a phantom caught between dimensional planes of existence, was a master strategist.
On Earth-Two, Savage sought to regain his own immortality through an infusion of Kryptonian energies. Concocting an elaborate plot whereby Savage lured the Justice Society along with the Shining Knight back to the age of Camelot, assuming the alias of the sovereign known as King Arthur, After subterfuge, Vandal was able to achieve what he felt was the means to restore his long last vitality which had not failed him for untold eons before this.
Vandal drew Superman and Power Girl to an artificial world, Colu-Two. There, under the influence of a Kryptonite sun of his own creation, while channeling the cosmic energies of Star-Spangled Kid's cosmic converter belt and Power Girl's own super powers, Savage battled with Superman in order to steal the Man of Steel's power. This, he theorized, would restore his immortality... however he was instead defeated.

Timelines of Injustice: Sinister Society's Successful Schemes
And speaking of Degaton, when he was a lowly lab assistant for Time Trust scientist Professor Malachi Zee, he gained access to temporal technology. In 1947, Per stole Zee's time cabinet and journeyed back in time with armies and 20th century weaponry in order to alter the course of the key Battle of Arbela in 331 BC which changed the course of history. As such, Earth-Two did not technologically advance past a medieval state, while Degaton secured his modern armaments in a chromium lined cave. Even into the late 1950's, this resulted in this tyrant having unmatched power which even the Justice Society could not overcome.
On Earth-One, Professor Ronson accidentally unleashed via his chronal transponder an energy wave that altered that planet's future causing its superheroes to be eliminated with only their alter egos remaining. Thankfully, the World's Finest Team from the future of Earths One and Two restored reality to its natural course.

Immortal Man: Evidence He Originated on Earth-Two
The Immortal Man's biggest claim to fame may well be forgotten.. as the founder of the Forgotten Heroes. This team was composed of various plain clothed (and in Animal Man's case, costumed) crusaders of justice on Earth-One, such as Rip Hunter the Time Master, geologist Cave Carson, deep sea divers the Sea Devils, jungle explorer Congo Bill, Suicide Squad leader Rick Flagg and mysterious maiden the Dolphin.. He had assembled them in order to combat his age-old foe, Vandal Savage, however Savage originated on Earth-Two!
As Immortal Man explained to his fellow champions of justice, he and Vandal had been exposed to the same strange comet that bequeathed them both with extensive lifespans. And through the eon they battled one another perpetually. How could this be, if one was on Earth-One and the other on Earth-Two? In his first tale on Earth-One, Vandal mentioned that he left his home world to conquer this parallel planet by changing its history and thereby controlling its greatest champion, Superman, whose counterpart had alongside the Justice Society defeated him shortly before this.
In his next appearance, Savage created a company known as Abraxas, Inc... designed to employ robotic replicas of the Man of Steel in order to more sufficiently protect Metropolis. However, this was a mere ploy by Vandal to supplant Superman and thereby fracture the public's perception of its prominent protector. After manipulating the radioactive Neutron into battling Superman, he lured the hero into the headquarters of Abraxas, whereby Superman was sprayed with spores that he unknowingly spread throughout Metropolis… causing environmental chaos! This tied to ancient alien pyramids Savage used as a means of returning Earth-One to prehistoric conditions which he could control. - Mark the young orphan was the twin of the young Immortal Man that appeared when the Forgotten Heroes met their opposite number, the Forgotten Villains. Each had brief careers before they each perished saving humanity, both manifesting the same set of powers in that sole appearance.
- Samar the Jungle Man of Earth-Two's Africa had a counterpart in Animal Man (aka Buddy Baker) of Earth-One's Arizona, each with superhuman abilities tied to powers from the jungles similar to wild beasts. Note: Jungle Man's arch foe Karat possessed a helmet that created animal mutants much as that of Atom Master, a villain who battled the Superman and Batman of Earth-One, and later fought Animal Man, Immortal Man and the Forgotten Heroes.
- Mark King the English treasure expert of Earth-Two was as intuitive and resourceful as investigator Mark Merlin of Earth-One, whose counterpart was Mark Merlin. Both men possessed mind-over-matter powers and later had their minds transplanted into new bodies. While Mark Merlin merged minds with ancient Egyptian Prince Raman, it was Prince Khufu of Egypt who merged minds with the Hawkman of Earth-Two. Ra-Man and Immortal Man died during the Crisis on Infinite Earths.
- Kirk Jason the ancient books editor of Earth-Two was like his counterpart on Earth-One, geologist Kenneth Anderson, men who gained telekinetic abilities due to their exposure from alien rocks. Jason was similar to his predecessors, a hero, while Anderson became the villain known as the Annihilator until Batgirl and Supergirl beat him.
- Anton Carter, the prominent former European paleontologist of Earth-Two was matched by Lucian Crawley of Earth-One, a young mutant who like Anton had mental abilities and aspired to be the masked superhero known as Mind-Grabber Kid. However, unlike Carter, who perished soon after his career began, Crawley used his mind control to strike back at the Justice League out of jealousy, and then in disgrace retired.
- Immortal Man's next identity was unnamed when he appeared on Earth-One following Savage, but this cloned body was the Earth-Two doppleganger to T.O. Morrow who left Earth-One for Earth-Two to construct the Red Tornado as a weapon to use against the Justice Society and Justice League before returning to his home-world. Both men had telekinetic powers.
- Many others in the Immortal Man line, such as Hotep, Ali Jaba, Marcus of Rome, Sir Longlance and Flying Stag (aka Super-Chief) of Earth-Two who each carried Immortal Man's jewel mirrored those Earth-One individuals as Prince Ra-Man of Egypt, Diabolu of Babylon, the Olympian of Greece, the Wild Huntsman of Germany and Kirk Langstrom (aka Man-Bat).
The original Immoral Man, Klarn Arg and arch-enemy Vandar Adg, existed during the same prehistoric era as mortal enemies. Klarn's ancient race on Earth-Two mirrored that of an ancient race on Krypton-One which predated Superman's own people. Originally the ruler of this people, when a meteor threaten his civilization the future Kryptonite Man ordered all save himself to be kept in suspended animation for twenty years to ensure salvation. However due to a malfunction, all save himself perished while he awoke centuries later. This was just prior to his home world self destructing, which he blamed on the current Kryptonians. Mutated by Kryptonite radiation from the space fragment he survived on for decades, Kryptonite Man fed himself from the storehouse found in the Seeders' ships. Seeking out Kryptonian survivors, he battled both Superman and Supergirl, a battled paralleled by Vandar aka Vandal Savage battling Superman and Power Girl a universe away. However, Kryptonite Man gave his life to save Earth-One from an invading fleet of Seedera, far more noble than Savage had been.

Twice-Told-Tales: Devious Duplicates Developed Deviously

Two of the most prolific adversaries that the Greatest Superheroes of parallel planets ever faced were Kanjar Ro and Vandal Savage. Although their counterparts on each other's world were different villains, during a series of schemes these twin terror's actions mirrored one another, It began shortly after they were both defeated approximately the same time, at the hands of the Justice League and Society respectively. Both malicious masterminds hatched plots whereby they utilized stolen super-science in their attempted conquests of their respective universes while achieving vengeance versus their bitter foes. These pawns would be directed towards a quintet of both teams' members. While Kanjar Ro's sinister spawn replicated the Leaguers... Vandal Savage's approach was to eliminate his foes in the Society once and for all.
Thinking these beings would lead the two teams into traps, the second half of their plans were hatched when Ro utilized his Energi-Rod to shift Earth-One from its orbit closer to where he was located while on the planet Rann; and when Savage utilized a mysterious wand exerting his influence over his adversaries (Vandal Savage's true counterpart was Kru-El the Kryptonian, who mostly resided in the Phantom Zone, although on one occasion battled the Justice League).

Flash of Two Worlds: An Ancient Adversary
By their third encounter, the Scarlet Speedsters had learned quite a bit about one another's private lives, their rogues, their techniques and their need for speed... all from visiting one another's world. It was Barry's turn to visit Jay's planet once more, when he was tracing mysterious lights originating from Earth-Two.
When each of the six cities on Earth-One matched those of a member of the Justice Society of America, Barry Allen donned his crimson costume and seek out new found friend Jay Garrick to see what was the origin of these electromagnetic energies that caused havok in Gotham City, Central City, Washington DC, Calvin City (soon after renamed Ivy Town) as well as two other burgs.. After facing various weird weaponry which caused both speedsters some problems, they tracked the problem to a persistent pest who had... along with other members of the Injustice Society of the World... battled Jay's team twice years ago.
Turns out, it was immortal foe Vandal Savage who ensnared various members of the Justice Society of America with said lights, all except the Flash who had been saved by his twin. After they shook off the effect's of Savage's will-sapping device, which had turned the speedsters against one another, they were able to release the rest of the Justice Society... and drag Vandal back to jail. However, he would return, again and again, to torment the twin tornados repeatedly in the years that followed. Ironically, it was his own desire for vengeance that caused the Justice Society to reform for a modern era once more!
The Earth-S counterpart of Vandal Savage, King Kull, likewise caused his own share of trouble for the heroes of his world and those of Earths One and Two during a "Crisis in Eternity" when that immortal villain launched an attack on his own native world and those of Earths One and Two. As such, the speedster Mercury (a frequent ally of Kit "Kid Eternity" Freeman, the counterpart to Barry and Jay) recruited the pair of Scarlet Speedsters as well as their teammates of the Justice League and Justice Society to assist the newly reformed Squadron of Justice of Earth-S to quash the schemes of Kull and his supervillain henchmen. Kull like Savage showed tremendous acumen using advanced technology despite his primitive beginnings, yet like him ultimately underestimated his three fleet footed foes and their allies.

Exiles of the Planet Oa Terrorize the Multiverse
Early in the history of Earth-One's universe, a scientist of the planet Maltus named Krona had been obsessed with learning the secrets of the past. While on the world known as Oa, Krona used technology to witness the dawn of creation, something that had been strictly prohibited by his society as they had somehow become aware of the dire consequences for his actions. In fact, instead of attaining increased knowledge, Krona's contemptuous curiosity caused his own universe to be replicated an infinite number of times, spawning the Multiverse and the Anti-Matter Universe. For his crimes, his fellow Oans banished him to wander his universe by transforming him into a globe of energy. Not long thereafter, these same benevolent blue-skinned beings became the Guardians of the Universe.
And, in fact, this was accomplished when Alan Scott, wielding the green lantern and power ring, joined alongside his allies of the All-Star Squadron to vanquish this entity from Earth-Two when it merged with Joe Morgan in a fit of vengeance. The Evil Globe-Being merged with Morgan turned the former boxing trainer a gigantic being with a glowing bluish hue. Morgan aka "Nat Milligan" was the counterpart of Earth-One's Guy Gardner, aka the backup Green Lantern of Sector 2814.
