When each of the six cities on Earth-One matched those of a member of the Justice Society of America, Barry Allen donned his crimson costume and seek out new found friend Jay Garrick to see what was the origin of these electromagnetic energies that caused havok in Gotham City, Central City, Washington DC, Calvin City (soon after renamed Ivy Town) as well as two other burgs.. After facing various weird weaponry which caused both speedsters some problems, they tracked the problem to a persistent pest who had... along with other members of the Injustice Society of the World... battled Jay's team twice years ago.

However, he would return, again and again, to torment the twin tornados repeatedly in the years that followed. Ironically, it was his own desire for vengeance that caused the Justice Society to reform for a modern era once more!
The Earth-S counterpart of Vandal Savage, King Kull, likewise caused his own share of trouble for the heroes of his world and those of Earths One and Two during a "Crisis in Eternity" when that immortal villain launched an attack on his own native world and those of Earths One and Two. As such, the speedster Mercury (a frequent ally of Kit "Kid Eternity" Freeman, the counterpart to Barry and Jay) recruited the pair of Scarlet Speedsters as well as their teammates of the Justice League and Justice Society to assist the newly reformed Squadron of Justice of Earth-S to quash the schemes of Kull and his supervillain henchmen. Kull like Savage showed tremendous acumen using advanced technology despite his primitive beginnings, yet like him ultimately underestimated his three fleet footed foes and their allies.
