Valdemar the Viking and Fairytales Fenton, one a champion for good the other a crook for evil.
Valedmar was the protector of a secluded valley, kept from the prying eyes of those on Earth-One, thanks to a special flame which also empowered their leader's sword.
Fenton created his own fairy tale land filled with fellow felons, empowered by an electricity generating mallet.
Superman stumbled upon the valley and clashed with Valdemar, although they eventually became friends when he preserved the Viking's flame and way of life. Fenton was an adversary of Sandman and then, later, the All-Star Squadron... the latter when he was bequeathed with an alien hammer channeling lightning naturally.
While Valdemar remained a remnant of a time of nobility, Fenton channeled all that was bad throughout history, each echoing back to the mythological might of a legend named Thor, himself!
