Super-Jeweler to the Stars...From the Stars!

It ain't easy to be Superman's Pal or his Girlfriend.... not when trouble (and potential plots) are a recurring feature in one's life (and comic). So what does the guy and gal pal of the Krypton Crusader wear to keep themselves protected from evildoers and their deadly traps?

Well on Earth-One, in Jimmy Olsen's case, it was his signal watch... while on Earth-Two, Lois Lane Kent wore wedding ring. How would such items as these afford them security?

The signal watch, as the above picture illustrates well, sends out an ultra-sonic signal that the Man of Steel can hear, to be used in cases of dire emergency or of a situation calling for his expertise in handling. The wedding ring was obtained by Superman from the coal mines of Zriff that amplifies the wearer's emotional state, allowing Lois' husband to be drawn to his wife in times when she is overly stressed as is oft the case. Thankfully, both gadgets saved their owners' lives multiple times throughout the years, and more importantly cemented their bonds of affection with a certain alien.
