Fawcett's Finest: Stunning Stars

During the fevered pitch that was World War II, two young men donned uniforms allowing them to transcend their normal lives to become so much more than the sum of their parts. On Earth-Two, that man was scientist turned soldier Hank Heywood, who's severely injury body was transformed into the metallic self-healing shell of Commander Steel. On Earth-S, that man was roving reporter Chase Yale who challenged his mortal frame with nothing more than his wits and weaponry he happened to have on him. While Steel worked alongside the All-Star Squadron for a few months, Yank only teamed up once with another mystery man, Phantom Eagle. Then, as the war drew to a close, so did their costumed careers.
