Floyd Ventris was a petty criminal in the Gotham City of Earth-One who decided to adopt a reflection motif following his escape from jail. As the Mirror Man, Ventris committed a series of daring robberies that led to his encountering Batman and Robin. When the Dynamic Duo finally defeated him, Ventris returned to hand s imprisoned life where he was a prison gardener until he once more escaped for a rematch the Caped Crusaders. Once more, the pair dealt him a decisive blow which led to his retiring from crime, although years later Batman would recall Mirror Man as one of his main adversaries.
Judson was an employ as an auto manufacturer at Stevens Glass Works, which lost business to rival Morton Glass Works. When the owner of Stevens declared vengeance upon Morton, this was the cover Judson used to frame him for crime committed, due to his vehicles being deemed as unsafe. Sending glass models with poisonous pointed edges to his victims, Judson as the Glass Man attacted the attention of Batman and Robin of Earth-Two. Although his disorienting glass mask helped him overcome Batman initially, he himself was dazzled by a reflection leading to his death when falling into a furnace.
