The parallel planets of Staryl and Zor each had their own superwomen in the forms of Luma Lynai and Tharka. Luma first met Kal-El after his cousin Kara played matchmaker on the pair. Tharka journeyed to Earth-Two to aid Kal-L. Turns out that neither heroine had superpowers within the confines of the Earths' solar systems. In fact, the yellow solar rays were deadly to Lynai when she approached Earth-One, while Tharka found herself in deadly situations while under the same environment. Both lasses were variations on the typical female version of Superman, with their origins left unknown aside from the fact that they were "mutants" and apparently the sole superheroes on their corresponding worlds. While Kara Zor-El would be the superior Supergirl to Lynai, Kara Zor-L blossomed into a Power Girl exceeding the abilities of Tharka. And after this ladies met the Kryptonian Crusaders on one occasion each, they returned to Staryl and Zor never to be heard from again. No doubt because they resided in distant parts of the galaxy far secluded from the Earths.
