Twice-Told-Tales: The Wild West... in times of Crisis

Danette Reilly aka Firebrand of Earth-Two must have found a niche in the old west during the Crisis on Infinite Earths. During the initial stages of the Anti-Monitor's attack on her world and other parallel planets, she was swept in the late 1800s of Earth-One where she met notable cowboys Jonah Hex, Bat lash, Johnny Thunder, Nighthawk and their native American pal Scalphunter. 

Then, shortly thereafter, she was swept back into the modern era where she met cowboys Roving Ranger and the Trigger Twins as well as the native Americans known as Strong Bow and Super-Chief at Cape Canaveral on Earth-Two. There, she led forces protecting that space base from the Ultra-Humanite and his forces.

Both assignments were charged to her by Harbinger, the assistant to the Monitor who was attempting to save what remained of the Multiverse from the incursion of his counterpart the Anti-Monitor and the Anti-Matter Universe of Qward. Apparently, there was something special and unique about this heroine that was necessary towards achieving the Monitor’s overall plans.

While these events were occurring, Firebrand’s doppelgänger of Earth-One Loretta “Firehawk” Reilly had teamed up with Wonder Girl on a side mission during the Crisis where they are pulled back to 1776. There they met and joined forces with that period’s predominant protector Tomahawk.
