Dual Dopplegangers Dissect Danger: The Atoms

Of all the members of the Justice League and Justice Society, the most overlooked may well be the Mighty Mites... the Atoms. Ray Palmer and Al Pratt were both power players, only a much smaller scale than their peers. Not just in their size but in their notoriety, these twin tots were still tremendous teammates. And yet they were among the most different, due to the nature of their abilities, with Ray-Atom able to shrink and juggle his weight while Al-Atom had superstrength. In this sequence, each Mite tackles the alien animal Teppy, with Al using his might to little success while Ray uses his size as but a distraction. Unlike other cases, such as when the joined forces to defeat the Thinker and troubleshoot troublesome technology in their twin towns, on this adventure they depended of their allies to turn the tides from tragedy to triumph. Still, they at least provided some moral support and showed by their example how conviction and courage are valuable assets to have and assets that the League and Society highly valued in them.
