June Moone and Joan White were normal women until they each became bequeathed with superhuman skills. While good at their core, they proved the old adage... power corrupts.
For June, this came when a mysterious entity gave her powers allowing her to effect reality around her... including changing her own appearance. As the Enchantress, she had a short-lived career as a costumed crusader, an obscure heroine until she moved to Florida to pursue a new career path.
This led her into a meeting with school guidance counselor Linda Danvers, aka Supergirl, with whom she clashed while trying to use her powers to vastly amplify her abilities to wipe out all evil from Earth-One. When Moone's plans were dashed by the Girl of Steel, the pair had a rematch leading to a similar outcome. June then schemed further...
Her counterpart was a woman named Joan White, a prison secretary who came under the influence of the evil Doctor Psycho. The doctor used her own mental abilities to effect reality, including changing his and her appearances multiple times. Each time, the pair came under conflict with Wonder Woman, who helped free Joan and jail Psycho.
However, the Doctor and White left America and aided the Nazi German forces and an alien race known as the Krell with the aim of controlling all of Earth-Two. Once more, the Amazing Amazon was able to defeat Psycho and presumably Joan was returned to her homeland a free woman. However, a few years later, Psycho made a third bid for power, and sought out Joan to effect his schemes. This led to a decisive defeat from which he never recovered.
As for Moone, she formed the Forgotten Villains, and this time clashed with Supergirl's cousin Superman and the Forgotten Heroes... and yet again despite having an awesome array of abilities at her disposal, her power-mad desire proved her undoing as her betrayal of fellow allies led to her defeat, nevermore to reappear as a supervillain or heroine.
