Scheming Sneaks Suspect Superhero's Secret Success

Scheming sneaks indeed! Roy Reynolds was a renowned robber who ascertained the secret to success versus the Dynamic Duo. Instead of trying to slay them, as other villains had attempted doing for years, he would simply outwit them by escaping their grasp. To that end, as the Getaway Genius, Reynolds had a series of confrontations with Batman and Robin, and while he alone would've been successful, sadly those he worked with did not believe in his methods, which led to his capture repeatedly.

Then there was the formerly well regarded newsman Scoop Scanlon, who had several tales as an Action Ace recorded in the 1930's before he worked for Gotham City's Vue magazine. Having fallen on hard times, he felt that his way back to prominence was in proving that Bruce Wayne was Batman, as he suspected. However, Batman and Robin tricked Scanlon into doubting this premise, and he gave up his pursuit.
