Adeline Kane Wilson served in the military before eventually meeting and marrying a fellow officer in Slave Wilson. Together, they had two children in Grant and Joseph, and although their life together started well it would one day crumble. Slide had been selected for a treatment that would enable him to access a greater percentage of his mental faculties and become a super soldier. Using his skills in civilian life as a mercenary known as Deathstroke, and this career directly led to his son being kidnapped and tortured by her husband's adversary. Divorcing Slade, Adeline began to draw upon her own experience as a soldier for hire and with the aid of Jospeh, who as Jericho inherited powers due to the genetic experiment on his father, together they aided the New Teen Titans in defeating Slade.
Wanda Wilson was a distraught women who attempted suicide before being saved by star athlete and successful businessman Terry Sloane. This occasion inspired Sloane the adopt the alter ego of mystery man Mister Terrific, and Wanda would assist him on several of his cases for years. Eventually, the two seemingly parted amicably despite having a once promising romance.
