Misters Mxyztplk and Mxyztplk were seemingly confirmed bachelors, although occasionally women from the 3-dimension would attack their attention. On one occasion, or rather on two similar occurences on parallel planes of existence, these menacing mini-men almost married. Only not to attracted ladies of Earth, but rather from homely women of their own realms.
For Mister Mxyztplk, this occured after a previous failed courtship with Miss Gsptlsnz*. When these two powerful pests couldn't reconcile their differences, Gsptlsnz journeyed to Earth-One to try attracting the attention of Daily Planet reporter Jimmy Olsen. Despite various schemes, such as transforming the lad into a porcupine, she failed to coerce the lad. Even during the impending marriage of Jimmy and longtime girlfriend Lucy Lane, her plan to cause them to split failed to lead towards romance.
With Gsptlsnz all but a memory, Mxyztplk was attracted to another women of his native world Zrfff-One, Miss Bgbznz. Just prior to the wedding, Mxyztplk was exiled to Earth-One by a magistrate due to his various offenses. Seeking the assistance of his nemesis Superman, he found his adversary had transformed into a lizard like creature, as the Man of Steel used himself as a test subject for gaining superpowers from an alien creature... which Superman could then give to Lois. The goal was to grant her powers such that she could be protected from his enemies after they wed. When this failed to work, Superman was transformed back his normal appearance with the help of Mxyztplk , who's good deal allowed him to return to Zrfff-One. However, after the wedding, he learned that Bgbznz had disguised her appearance. Realizing her true nature, Mxyztplk had their marriage annuled, although the pair ended up having a child together.
For Mister Mxyztplk, this occured after his political pawn King Brpxy had his rulership of Zrfff-Two temporarily usurped by another more competent king. This king sought a suitor for his homely daughter Bgbznz, with this princess asking for Mxyztplk's hand in marriage. When commanded by the king to marry the princess, Mxyztplk claimed that he was in love with Lois Lane of Earth-Two. Demanding that Mxyztplk return in one week with his new bride or marry the princess, the troublemaker traveled to Earth-Two blackmailing Lois into marriage. Instead, she held a contest to see whether he or she was the better reporter. When Mxyztplk tricked his way into winning the contest, Superman rushed into the wedding ceremony and tricking the imp into saying his name backwards, returning him the 5th Dimension. Apparently, Mxyztplk was able to reinstall Brpxy as ruler, removing the threat of the new king and Bgbznz.
