Bad Blonde Bombshells Bedevil Brutally: Corla Tavo & Artemis Crock

Corla Tavo was a prime agent of a small cadre of militant invaders from the planet of Thanagar, bent on stealing anti-gravity technology possessed by their fellow Thanagarians Katar and Shayera Hol aka Hawkman and Hawkgirl, which they had lost*. Her leader Fell Andar and several of his henchmen were killed when the Hawk's star-cruiser, which they had stolen, was destroyed. However, Corla remained safely earthbound, and was hired as an artist for Midway City Museum where the Hols worked as Carter and Shiera Hall. She would persist in her attempts to steal their devices and sought revenge upon the pair, but ultimately perished.

Artemis Crock was the daughter of Crusher and Paula Crock, who had lengthy costumd careers as the colorful criminals known as Sportsmaster and Huntress who battled the Justice Society togther, as well as individually versus arch-foes Green Lantern and Wildcat respectively. Following their larcenous legacy, Artemis joined the Injustce Unlimited, an offshoot of their old team the Imjustce Society of Earth-Two. Crock and her new teammates would battle the heroic offspring of her parents' mortal foes, Infinity, Inc. Despite losses at their hands, Artemis as the villianess named Tigress eventually bonded with teammate Icicle, and together they would start a family.

Both women had exceptional senses, allowing them to track their prey and know their surroundings, which made them tactical challenges to those whom they opposed. While Corla had a energy emitting palm blaster, Artemis had an arrow-launching crossbow, although both were deadly tools in the hands of these femme fatales. 

* This was due to a so-called "Equalizing Plague", which reduced collective knowledge of Thanagar's residents living on that world at that time.
