At times, rotating rogues Top and Spinner left their adversaries dazed and disoriented by their high velocity attacks. Indeed, Roscoe Dillon and Swami Ynar were masters both in this technique and technology. On one occasion, other masked men impersonated the Top and the Spinner, to advanced mysterious masterminds’ sinister schemes.
Paul Barrett as a small town lawyer representing Sam “Mirror Master” Scudder, who mentally controlled him using his reflective equipment. Barrett began a one-man crime wave dressed as Captain Cold, Captain Boomerang, Trickster, and finally… the Top. Once Barrett freed Scudder from prison, he himself was freed from the villain’s influence by the Scarlet Speedster, the Flash.
Peanuts Gilson was a small time crook setup to imitate the actual Spinner. Stealing valuables from wealthy individuals which the Swami could then locate, Gilson was unmasked by the Dynamic Duo. Together with Batwoman, Batman and Robin confronted and defeated the original Spinner.
