On Earth-Two, Aegeus led has spy syndicate to a Greek island where he set up his remote base of operations. Developing a large experimental electromagnetic cannon, Aegeus uses his weapon to disable Steve Trevor's aircraft. This caused the aviator to crashland on Paradise Island, where he was found and nursed back to health by the island's Princess Diana. When she won a contest set up to select an Amazon to become their representative to the outside world, Diana as Wonder Woman flew Steve and herself back to the United States. In route over the Mediterranean island, Diana's invisible plane was pulled down by Aegeus, whom she confronted along with his henchmen, and defeated.
The Aegeus of Earth-One returned shortly after his disappearance following his first appearance. Thirsting did revenge against Wonder Woman, Aegeus became embroiled in a plot involving an American senator, and although his specialized daggers damaged his Amazon foes’ metallic bracelets, he still met with defeat.
While the Bellerophon of Earth-One was an old blind man when Wonder Woman met him and his minions in battle, his Earth-Two counterpart was kept alive and youthful through the centuries due to strange mists in a cave he was trapped within. This Bellerophon was recruited by evil Modred to duel with his arch-enemy King Arthur’s prized knight, Sir Justin. In fact, Justin the Shining Knight with his flying steed Winged Victory found Bellerophon and his horse Pegasus an equal match. Eventually, both Bellerophon and Pegasus were returned to Ancient Greece while Justin and Victory were sent back to the 20th century when they were last from… they too were kept alive for centuries in suspended animation thanks to a glacier they fell into.
