Garth Ranzz, Ayla Ranzz and Brin Londo three young people who together joined the Legion of Super-Heroes that aided the Science Police in the 30th century on Earth-One. Rex Cosmos, Joan, and Axel Yokel were three adventures who were members of the Super-Police that aided the Space Legion of the 30th century on Earth-Two. While it had been stated previously that the Legion operated in the 21st century, as the Space-Patrol also were said to have existed in 2023, it was later revealed their tales occurred one thousand years from now.
Garth and Ayla Ranzz were twins who alongside their older brother 
Mekt were attacked by Lightning Beast on the planet Korbal, which charged them each with similar energy. Garth then joined alongside Rokk Krinn and Irma Ardeen in protecting the life of R.J. Brande during a transport through space towards Earth-One.
Founding the Legion of Super-Heroes, Garth as Lightning Lad was a pilar of the team until he perished, and was replaced by Ayla who adopted the alter ego of Lightning Lass. When Garth was revived to life, Ayla herself was given new powers to lightning gravity as Light Lass thanks to Dream Girl's machinations. Meanwhile, Mekt became the criminal known as Lightning Lord and joined the Legion of Super-Villains. Some time afterwards, a mutated young man named Brin Londo joined the heroic Legion as Lone Wolf and then Timber Wolf, and fell in love with Light Lass. As for Garth, he and Irma ended up marrying and having twins of their own.
Rex along with Axel were tasked with dealing with space pirate Captain Kiddlaw. Rex possessed a spacecraft known as the Hi-Lo which could manipulate cosmic radiation to fly through the vacuum of space, while Joan and Axel mostly assisted him. All three had advanced weaponry at their disposal to utilize during their various missions.
Through a series of adventures, Cosmos became betrothed to the Queen of Fortune, but inevitably it was Kiddlaw who dealt with the trio and Joan's father by gassing them.
