Adversaries of the Arrow Week: Swinging Singles

Some of the more memorable rogues in Green Arrow's greedy gallery were men who staked their claim on other unorthodox hand weaponry to combat their heroic opposite number's bow.

To wit, David Drayson used a slingshot, hence his alias, flinging projectiles with various effects. The Roper was a formerly nondescript nemesis who after an initial encounter with the Green Arrow and Speedy of Earth-Two trained himself on the use of various ropes to tie up his foes. Drayson himself had three outings versus the Green Arrow of Earth-One, the last encounter also facing the bowman's girlfriend Black Canary as well. Although each came very close to vanquishing their skilled foe, the each found that the slings of fate left them at the end of their rope.
