Robin's Rogues: Crazy Quilts of Quirky Crimes

Crazy Quilt was the moniker used by two men on parallel planets, using bizarre colors and paintings in their crimes.

On Earth-Two, Quilt was an amateur painter and professional thief who was blinded. Using various forms of technology to compensate for this affliction, including helmets that projected garish colored lights, this thief as Crazy Quilt five times fought the Boy Commandos. Later he battled Robin once then retired after receiving a humiliating defeat.

His Earth-One counterpart, Paul Dekker, was a fence and antiquarian who adopted the motif of Crazy Quilt. Inspired by his counterpart, whom he read about in Boy Commandos comics (which chronicled adventures from Earth-Two as fictional tales) he carried on his predecessor's footsteps. Dekker clashed with the Blackhawks once, and was then sent to prison indefinitely. 

He too fought Robin, the version of his world,  and later faced that Boy Wonder and his mentor Batman, as well as the next Robin in Jason Todd.
