Though their early lives mirrored one another, the decisions they made in the late teens into adulthood made them distinct heroes and men.
Each was a boyhood member of a superhero team: for Earth-One's Robin it was as a member of the Teen Titans, for Earth-Two's Robin it was by joining the All-Star Squadron. The Titans became young Dick Grayson's whole world, even causing him to leave college to become more-or-less a full-time hero. For the older Dick, he continued as a costumed crusader while completing his college education, becoming a leading attorney in Gotham City. First a partner in the law firm Cranston, Grayson and Wayne...Grayson later accepted an appointment as an ambassador for South Africa which became apartheid free, unlike its doppleganger on Earth-One.
And speaking of that world, its resident Teen Wonder forsook his former alias and adopted the gear of Nightwing, inspired by a champion of the bottled city of Kandor. Meanwhile, the Ex-Boy Wonder turned diplomat returned to America to reclaim his membership with the Justice Society of America as well as assisting the fledgling team associated with them of the All-Star Super Squad. Both men had budding romances with the heroines Batgirl and Huntress, which alas never developed into anything more substantial. However, their careers remained legendary.
