The core of the parallel planets that had first inspired the Multiverse of comicbooks were the Justice League of America which debuted in the 1960s, and its progenitor of the 1940s, the Justice Society of America.When the former was first published, it was undoubtedly inspired by the later, even down to individual members such as Superman, Green Lantern, Atom, Batman, Wonder Woman and others. A year after the League first blazed a new trail as its World's Greatest Superheroes, its member the Flash met his favorite fictional hero, the golden age Flash, only it turns out that Jay Garrick aka the Flash was as real as the modern version. Soon Barry Allen as the Flash found himself alongside his fellow Leaguers soliciting the services of the Society, which would cement Earths One and Two and deepen their relationship as twin Terras that were as similar as they were different.
