Marvelous Maidens Meet Men of Might

The intergalactic superhero known as Vartox the Hyper-Man first fell in love with Syreena. However, Syreena was in actuality a scheming criminal who used an amulet to siphon some of Vartox's hyper-powers into herself. When he discovered this, he caught her and turned her over to the authorities. Despite her base intent originally, she grew to love Vartox, and felt this was a betrayal of that relationship. 

Liandly accidentally activate her father's teleportation device which sent her from her native planet Rolez to Earth-Two. There she met that world's Clark Kent and his wife Lois, who briefly assumed guardianship of her, and conceived of a normal name for her in the form of Linda Lee... the same name that Earth-One's Supergirl and Lena's best friend used. On her new world, she gained telepathic and telekinetic abilities which she used alongside Superman to defeat the criminal Colonel Future. As such, the hero gave her the nickname of Super-Girl. 

Years later, when the planet she and Vartox were from known as Valeron exploded she was able to flee the destruction. In pursuit of her former love, Syreena disguised herself as an energy phantom in order to create a subterfuge through which she'd be able to obtain revenge on him.

Shortly thereafter, Liandly’s powers returned her to Rolez.. And that world found with Syreena’s world of Valeron! She never met her world's version of Vartox as that man, Cyclotron aka Terrance Curtis, had passed away a few years before. Liandly possessed the mental abilities comparable to Vartox, while Syreena and Cyclotron manifested only physical and energy based powers.

Back over in the Earth-One universe, Syreena used her own powers to create a field of protection around Lana Lang, who was also in love with the superhero. Intent on leaving with Vartox to his new world which he had sworn to protect, she soon found there was an adverse effect to her surprise gift... she turned Lana into stone which caused Vartox to become mentally unstable. 

Thanks to the intervention of his friend, Superman, the powerful protectors were able to discover the true nature of Lang's affliction and the threat that was the femme fatale. However, Syreena still loved Vartox and... seeing how torn he was at Lana's state of being... reversed the effect of his redheaded girlfriend resulting in Sytreena becoming a stone statue indefinitely. Returning to his new world of Tynola with his lost love, Vartox bid Lana goodbye.
