Barry O'Neill, an amateur sleuth in the late 1930's of Earth-Two, had a series of confrontations with the evil Fang Gow. After several schemes of Gow's were overturned by his O'Neill, the villain's daughter was eventually drawn into the conflict between wherein she met Barry.
An Earth-One private investigator named Jonny Double had a himself opposed an Asian arch-criminal on his world known as Doctor Cyber. During this time, Double had a few adventures with Diana Prince. On one occasion, they encountered the femme fatale Lu Shan, who wanted revenge against her father I-Ching while pledging unwavering loyalty towards Cyber. Eventually, she was stranded on another dimensional world after a final conflict versus the aged master and his damsel disciple.
Barry O'Neill would continue to have dozens of adventures following his final victory against Fang Gow. Jonny Double had himself a later association with the Challengers of the Unknown.
