Three business men and three career criminals each decided to form Terrible Trios on their twin Earths to terrorize and torment their foes.
On Earth-One, the Trio consisted of the Fox, the Shark and Vulture. Fox mastered technology on land, Shark mastered technology on sea, and Vulture mastered technology in air. They came into conflict twice with the Dynamic Duo of Batman and Robin, each time being defeated.
On Earth-Two, the Trio consisted of Sting, Bandana Bardon, and Crime Candle. Sting was a master gangland strategist. Bardon was a master sharpshooter. Crime Candle was a master arsonist and gaseous chemist. They each individually faced Tarantula, and after their defeats came together for revenge. Once more they were vanquished by their foe.
