Among the state-of-the-art technological achievements of the residents from planet Thanagar-One was their spacecrafts which could traverse large distances across the universe utilizing a hyperspace warp drive. In fact, this was the means whereby that world's lawmen Katar and Shayera Hol traveled to Earth-One in order to study that civilization's law enforcement methods. As Hawkman and Hawkgirl, the Hols themselves worked alongside the police department of Midway City as winged warriors, protecting their adopted world and becoming members of the Justice League of America. Eventually, the pair returned to Thanagar-One, and were infected by an equalizing plague which rendered all those infected as normalized and ordinary. Using his spaceship to lure his League comrades to Earth-One, Hawkman brought about the defeat of the plague's carrier and soon immunized both himself and Shayera from it.
On Earth-Two, that world's Hawkman likewise had a similar spacecraft that he and his allies in the Justice Society used to travel first to Jupiter-Two then Mars-Two in pursuit of their friend Elwood Napier and their foe the Conqueror... who were one in the same... and who provided them the scientific principles to develop their craft. This had been given to Napier by the nefarious aliens of the Green Star, seeking to conquer this solar system using Napier as their unwitting pawn. Freeing him from their mental influence and defeating the aliens, the team used the vessel to return to Earth-Two.
Although separated from their homeworld for years due to the dictator Hythanis curing planet, they had a remnant of Thanagar in this very ship as well as their career as archaeologist Carter and Shiera Hall on Earth-One. Hawkman and his pals presumably still had this gravity-engine craft at their disposal for any future needs they may have of traveling the cosmos.
