Wand-Wielding Weapon Warriors: Kanto and Xnon

Kanto and Xnon were two alien assassins who carefully crafted both their weaponry and their garments to reflect their expressive nature as master fiends. Kanto would have a recurring conflict with Mister Miracle who, like he, had been raised on planet Apokolips' orphanage administered by Granny Goodness. Xnon only appeared once to battle he arch-nemesis, the Spectre.

Both men came to the Earths of their respective universes, Kanto tasked with subduing his ruler Darkseid's adopted son escape artist Scott Free and returning him to Apokolips, while Xnon simply sought to plunder the world of its gold supplies which police detective Jim Corrigan is assigned to investigate. Both men initially succeeded when they met Scott's alter ego Miracle and Corrigan's alias Spectre.

However, both caped crusaders were able to outmaneuver their foes, with both Mister Miracle and Spectre claiming victories versus the problematic pair. Kanto escaped back to Apokolips from Earth-One, while Xnon was imprisoned within a meteor sent through space from Earth-Two.

While both men had above-human physiques and were adeptly training as cunning warriors, it was the potent power rods in their possession which made them truly a threat. This overwhelming menace was subdued by the costumes they were clad in, with Kanto dressed as an Italian Renaissance nobleman and Xnon dresses as a Scottish Classical Knight.
