On Earth-One, during a concurrent instance of a Crisis anti-matter wave which effected its late 19th century, Hannibal Hawkes as Nighthawk fled for his life from this occurrence. However, Nighthawk faced a similar end to the one Miss Gofooey and her mother (named earlier in this tale) had experienced, as an anti-matter wall collapsed upon them in the accompanying picture.
Also concurrent to this Crisis event across space and time, the lives of band of World War II soldiers on Earth-Two known as the Losers ended, as had their identical counterparts on Earth-One at the same time! While the former perished due to unnatural anti-matter, the latter perished in the midst of battle. Each quarter of Losers consisted of the members sailor Captain Storm, aviator Johnny Cloud, and troopers Sarge and Gunner.

To counterbalance the poor souls from Earth-One's Old West, was the Easy Company soldier of Earth-Two named Flower and Nazi soldiers whom he was facing. These events correlated the number of casualties on each world due to the incursion of Anti-Monitor's forces on their respective universes.
But then, there were several golden age mystery men who traveled from Earth-Two directly to Earth-X, and this would develop into an imbalance of another kind. This was contrasted with what transpired with various masked men like Nighthawk and marvelous maidens of Earth-One, who were forcably thrust into other universes... be they anti-matter or positive matter... where they met untimely ends. What were the stories of these brave individuals and their equally infamous opponents who made the same cross-dimensional trips? To find these answers, these are found in a previous post chronicling the final tales of Supergirl, Flash, and many more during the Crisis on Infinite Earths.
