Jack Spade and Jack Jackson. Criminals disguised under the guise of the Jack of Spades under the alias of Hi-Jack encounter the World's Finest heroes of two Earths, Batman (and Robin) of Earth-One and Superman of Earth-Two.
While Batman's foe at least at some semblance to his inspiration, Superman's rogue had a garish garment with only a marginal nod to his thematic origins. And after the initial nickel-and-dime schemes of this duo had been exposed and dealt with, these crooks slithered into obscurity.
Hey, not all the characters in the DC Multiverse are winners. To many one-hit wonders out there.
However these pair of pathetic players would be harbingers of a fad in both the golden and silver age, not just of further Jacks of Spade but of a variety of card themed characters, including the validation of the most famous of said criminals in the Batman mythos. Over the next few days we'll consider these in greater detail, as they had sufficiently greater notoriety than these dolts today.
