Guardian Gladiators of Good? Titanic Teen Troubleshooters

Karen Beecher, an aspiring scientist and inventor, was the girlfriend of Mal Duncan. Mal, in turn, was a member of the Teen Titans but both felt that his teammates took him for granted. As a result, Karen created the uniform and equipment of Bumblebee, pretending to be a villain to challenger Mal who would defeat her and prove his worth. When it was revealed what her true intentions were, she was asked to join the Titans as a member.


Beth Chapel was a doctor who, during the Crisis on Infinite Earths, was blinded during an incident at the Los Angeles hospital she was based at. As the  protégée of blind physician Charles McNider, she was inspired to become the second Doctor Midnight, carrying on the heroic tradition. Working alongside her boyfriend Rick Tyler aka the second Hourman, the pair eventually became members of the teen team known as Infinity, Inc.


Both heroines had black and yellow stylish uniforms, specialized goggles and weaponry in the form of Bumblee's stingers and Midnight's blackout bombs.
